Spring is here and soon summer will be knocking on our doors asking if we’re ready to hit the beaches and tan our days away. Small problem: for most of us, we’ve spent the duration of the winter season recovering from those holiday cheat meals we’ve indulged in. Here at Beauty Coach, we’re here to walk you through how to get that summer body- or at least: how to start.
Step 1: Make sure you know why you’re going to the gym. Too many people worry about a perfect image that they forget that a healthy lifestyle should be priority!
Step 2: Get in the mindset. Change doesn’t happen overnight, make sure that you stay consistent and remember- a little bit of progress is still progress!
Step 3: Eat right! Half the struggle for that summer body is telling yourself not to eat grandma’s homemade apple pie.
Step 4: Grab a friend. Working out is twice as fun when you have someone to cheer you on.
Step 5: Educate yourself. Know what parts of your body your workout is targeting and how it’s beneficial to your lifestyle!
Step 6: Get up! The hardest (and biggest) challenge that we all face is actually getting up from watching Netflix or surfing Facebook and just WORK OUT! Even a five-minute walk around the block contributes to burning off all of grandma’s pies! Remember to have fun and stay motivated!
