Bold Beautiful Brows!

Keeping your eyebrows pristine and in style can be so complicated. With style icons like Lily Collins and Cara Delevingne setting the bar for 2017’s eyebrow game: everyone is striving to have naturally bold brows! But Here at Beauty Coach, we know what a hassle that can be (not to mention difficult!) to get them perfect and natural so we’re here to help you get started with it!

Grow them out
The first step is to make sure to grow them out! There’s always this myth that by waxing or plucking off your eyebrows, they’ll grow back thicker and faster. FALSE! Stay away from the grooming for at least a month. Your eyebrows won’t be able to find their shape unless you LET them. But don’t worry, we have some tips for you to help speed up the process.

Invest in Castor Oil
Castor Oil is the holy grail for all eyebrows. It has essential fatty acids that stimulate faster hair growth. Did we mention it also makes it THICKER? (Score!) Just make sure that it’s cold pressed castor oil, because if it’s not- the oil could be chemically treated, and we want to make sure that everything is all natural! Here at Beauty Coach, we recommend using Home Health’s Organic Cold Pressed Castor Oil.

Tweezing
After you’ve grown them out, it’s time to find their shape. We know we told you to stay away from plucking, but that was only while it grew out! Afterwards, tweezers are your friends! Just make sure you’re careful not to over pluck. Tweeze away the strays by using products like LA Tweeze’s Pro Tweezer Set, which includes three different tweezers points that target all types of hair. Their Pro Illuminating Tweezers are also available: made with diamond dust in order to grab even the fine hairs.

Grooming
An essential step that people tend to overlook is grooming. Now that you’ve grown out your brows and mastered the shape, you have to make sure that you keep them that way! Always be sure to comb your eyebrows in an up (not down!) and to trim from time to time in order to keep the shape. Try using Seki Edge’s Comb Scissors or Sonia Kashuk’s Eyebrow Comb and Brush Combo.

After you’ve mastered getting your eyebrows as bold and beautiful as they can be naturally, try filling them in for some added color. Be sure to check out revolutionary products such as Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Brow Wiz and Brow Gel are worth the splurge!
