Whether it’s styling our hair too often, being exposed to stress, or simply our environment: hair tends to go through major amounts of wear and tear in our lifetime. As we keep damaging our hair, we don’t realize that it doesn’t have to stay damaged! With the right products, you can bring your hair back to life. Here at Beauty Coach, we know that it’s difficult to maintain a healthy hair routine, or even more importantly: finding the products best suited for you. So when Victoria’s Secret supermodel, Alessandra Ambrosio, told us her secret weapon, we had to check it out for ourselves.

The MARAJÓ hair care brand is a daily treatment system that refreshes, repairs, and restores the hair. The products consist of a cleanser, deep treatment, 3-1 finishing spray, anti friz, and blowout styling crème. The MARAJÓ products centers around the Pracaxai Nut Oil, which celebrity hair stylist and brand developer Denis de Souza says,

“Really is a miracle oil… it works from the inside out, rather than just coating the hair!”

The Pracaxai nut oil comes from Brazil and is known for it’s soothing and healing properties. The products work on all hair types from course, to fine, to chemically treated hair. No matter how different, the products work on everyone, and after just one use should result in shine, volume, and bounce. After multiple uses, MARAJÓ products are seen to help with split ends and friz.

The first step is to use the Nourishing Cleansing Crème with Pracaxi Oil to remove dirty and oil. Then, use the Deep Treatment Butter with Pracaxi Oil—Alessandra’s favorite. She uses it all the time after a long day, and it really helps to not only bring the hair back to life, but prevent it from future damages as well. The Deep Treatment Butter helps to seal and hydrate the cuticles in order to restore shine, body, and bounce to the hair.

On October 12, 2017 Alessandra, as the brand’s spokesperson, co-hosted the launch event along with Denis de Souza- brand developer and celebrity hair stylist, Dan Sharp- brand educator and celebrity hair stylist, and supermodel Erin Heatherton. The event took place at an estate in Beverly Hills and included an array of activities and festivities. The night was full of dancers, hair stations, and a DJ: all by the poolside. It showcased a variety of MARAJÓ products, and activities influenced by Brazil- Alessandra native country and MARAJÓ’s foundation point.

Before becoming a spokesperson for the brand, Alessandra had the opportunity to try MARAJÓ products beforehand. After a couple of months, she knew the [project was going to be something that wasn’t out in the market yet, and that it would make a difference.

Alessandra explains how she gave the product to her friends and family, in order to make sure that the product would work on all ages and hair types. She really wanted it to be able to yield the same results, no matter who ends up using it, will feel good. She tells us,

“My hair has no volume…[after using MARAJÓ] my hairdressers that I’ve worked with for years can tell that I have more life to my hair… I use it after a long week at Fashion Week, it helps bring it back to life. It’s like food for the hair!”

The MARAJÓ Product line is available individually, or as packaged kits. You can find them on www.marajo.com, Sephora, and QVC for $18.00 – $44.00.
