Glam from the AFI Film Fest Red Carpet: Lana Condor
We saw all kinds of beautiful makeup looks during the AFI Film Fest. The red carpet was bursting with stunning starlets looking spectacular while promoting their upcoming films. The beautiful Lana Condor rocked one of our favorite makeup looks at the premiere of her upcoming film Patriot’s Day; a pop of color! We’re infatuated with a clean, fresh makeup look that packs a colored punch. This is one of our favorite trends on the red carpet, and in life! Lana nailed it from head to toe. Her sleek, straight hair and origami inspired dress cooperated perfectly with her polished makeup. Brace yourselves for a Beauty Coach Breakdown!
Lana wore one of our forever-favorite shadows from MAC in All That Glitters. It’s the perfect champagne colored nude that’s great for everyday and on everyone. Underneath her eyes she wore the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Deep End. It’s a gorgeous, bluish green. They’ve got a wide range of super fun colors, so be sure to check them all out! You can manifest this glam with any one of their daring eyeliners. On her cheeks she wore the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush in Love Glow. These. Are. FABULOUS! The soft formula blends beautifully and has stunning pigment. This dual colored blush was chosen for Lana because the outer color brightens and contours her cheekbones while the inner color adds a gorgeous wash to the apples of her cheeks. The look was finished off with the MAC Pro Longwear lip liner in Oh Honey! This is a great peachy nude color. We live for this formula; it’s incredibly long wearing! Don’t be afraid to fill in your lips all the way with this pencil. It creates a slightly more dramatic look while lasting for hours. To finish off the glam with a glossy finish, MAC Lustreglass in Love Nectar was used. Every girl needs this gloss. It’s a gorgeous neutral peach that will brighten your lips right up!
The red carpet is always a great place to draw inspiration for your makeup. While many looks can seem ultra glamorous and out of reach, you’d be surprised how wearable they really are! Lana’s look is a great example of this; a few key products can take your makeup from real life to red carpet!
