Glam to Live for: Deadly Class Divas at San Diego Comic Con

This year’s Comic Con brought all the glamour and served us some seriously stunning makeup looks. We couldn’t help but share with you some of our beloved beats from the weekend…and our most favorite girls of course! Our two must see beauties are Lana Condor and Maria Gabriela De Faria. They were at the convention promoting their new project Deadly Class coming next year on Syfy, and their glam was just as dangerous as their hot new show! How stunning are our Deadly Class Divas?? Don’t worry…we’re about to share with you some incredible products that will help you recreate their iconic looks!

Let’s start with Ms. Comic Con(dor), shall we? Sorry, we just couldn’t help ourselves. Lana gave us a variety of gorgoeus looks throughout the weekend. She started with soft, fresh glam for press photos and interviews and ended with a sultry and smokey look for Comic Con’s notorious finale party thrown by Entertainment Weekly. One thing her makeup looks had in common that we couldn’t help but obsess over was some utterly stunning highlighting and contouring. Be sure to try Tarte’s Tarteist Pro Glow Palette. This product is absolute gold; we’re LIVING for it! For a more natural highlight, definitely try Strobe. It will give you that perfect pop that’s daytime appropriate yet still fresh and fabulous. If you want a little more or are going out for the evening, layer it with Stunner. For you dolls with deeper skin tones, Lit and Fire are just that…LIT and FIRE! This palette truly has something for everyone and we really aren’t sure how we functioned before it. True story. Now, let’s carve out that face! The palette’s powder contour color Sculpt makes for the ultimate shading tool. It’s the perfect way to define your cheeks! We love this tone because it’s not super warm like some bronzers, which can wind up looking red or orange. This color is super neutral and on the cooler side so it looks like natural shadows on your face.

The gorgeous Maria served us some old Hollywood glamour at the Entertainment Weekly event. We were living for her crisp, clean eye shadow colors and the bold red lip that she was rocking. To start with the eyes…give our favorite new Tartist palette a whirl! It not only works beautifully on the face, but makes for an incredibly handy eyeshadow palette as well. Be sure to use Fire as the all over lid color for a deeper, more bronze look. It makes for an almost smokey champagne hue when used as an eyeshadow; it’s still very neutral but has a little more depth than your average sheeny beige tone. Pair it with Sculpt in your crease and top it off with a little Lit under your brows to complete the look and to get those brow bones popping! As far as the lips are concerned, a fierce red is ALWAYS in style. Finding the perfect one can be tricky, but not to worry. We’re here for you! Be sure to check out Feels So Grand Liquid Lipstick by MAC Cosmetics. It’s a soft, liquid lipstick that dries matte and quite literally doesn’t budge. We love these because they’re hydrating and don’t feel uncomfortable on your lips. On top of that…it’s the most perfect blue-red you’ve ever seen. You’re welcome in advance!

We hope you love these makeup looks as much as we do and can’t wait for you to try these marvelous products!
