“You have to be odd to be #1.” – Dr. Seuss

Weird is the new normal, and here at Beauty Coach we can’t help but celebrate that! Sometimes it’s tough to try new things, especially things that are so out of the norm. But that’s exactly what makes it fun! We want to let you in on some awesome beauty products, that although may seem odd, are completely worth the purchase! Below are a list of some of our Beauty Coach favorites:

1. Hourglass Curator Lash Instrument
For those who live for mascara, this product is a must have. Hourglass’ Curator Lash Instrument is a stainless steel applicator without bristles. This brushless applicator is designed to reach even the smallest lashes, creating a clump free, elongated look. Not only that but it’s designed to create a tight lined effect for those looking for a tight lined effect, without the need for eyeliner. Although it’s a bit pricey, we recommend the spurge since it’s a product that lasts forever!

2. Snail Mucin
For the skincare obsessed, this must have weird product is for you! Yes, the main ingredient of this Korean beauty essence is snail secretion. However, look past that information and you’ll find that this product helps to even out skin tone and texture, reduce wrinkles, and minimize scars. Snail mucin for skincare originated from Greece, and then migrated its way into the Korean skincare market. Its texture is slimy to the couch, but goes away after application, leaving a smooth finish. We recommend trying Oh K! Beauty’s Intense Hydration Snail Mucin and Seaweed Fibre Mask or Cosrx’s Advanced Snail Essence.

3. Brush Cleaner’s
Probably the most normal product on this list, but definitely the most overlooked. A lot of the time, we just clean our makeup brushes by spraying some cleanser onto it and wiping them down with a towel. However, makeup brushes are the most essential in our makeup routine, and definitely the most used. So, we have to make sure we deep clean them, in order to prevent any unwanted bacteria from building up. Try out Sephora’s Solid Clean: Solid Brush Cleaner. It’s compact and can be used daily without harming your brushes, making it the ideal tool in your kit!
